If your specific question is not covered below, please post
a message in our forum and we will be happy to answer it.
What are the sharing options and how do I share?
We offer three methods of sharing.
- HTML: Video player on your page
This option uses the “iFrame” tag and will embed a video
player on your web page. This will not work on sites like MySpace
where use of the iFrame tag is not allowed.
- HTML: Thumbnail with Link
Good for MySpace or where you would like to expose many videos. This
code will put a thumbnail on your page with a link to click on to
return your visitor to the video page.
- UBB: Thumbnail with Link
Use this for forum web sites that support UBB code (such as vBulletin
and phpBB). Pasting this code into your forum post will present a
clickable image linking your visitors back to the video page.
Why can’t I download the videos?
Because if we provide a direct link to the videos, the no one will
see our advertiser’s ads and we will not make enough money to
cover our bills. Besides, having you come to our site to watch our video
gives you the opportunity to see other videos as well as interact with
other viewers. If we allowed downloads then we would just be an FTP
site.
The Video will not play, can you help?
After many months of research we have found that it’s impossible
to plan for every possible computer configuration, security setting,
plug in version, browser version, operating system version, patch level,
etc etc. So that said here is what we have found. For best compliance,
use the latest browsers and Windows Media and Flash plug ins. Make sure
you are not downloading other things in the background, and make sure
you do not have any monitoring programs chopping up your bandwidth.
We have found that Double NAT’ing two routers can mess up your
ability to stream videos for instance, so make sure you have a clean
network connection.
