With the growing demand to support and manage user-generated video content
there is strong demand for a “canned solution” to quickly
implement a video portal. Vidiac is able to leverage aggressive economies
of scale on bandwidth, hardware, software and management pricing and
thus is able to offer a fully baked ready to deploy video portal for
a fraction of the cost of in house development. What is more you pay
for the portal like a utility, pay only for what you use.
Maximum control of your Vidiac powered Site
With Vidiac Enhanced Service, we remove advertising from the platform
and give you control of the individual page templates. If you would
like to run ad free, or run your own advertisements, you can. This solution
is ideal for corporate video sites looking for a video portal solution
while maintaining control of the full site.
Features that match your needs
Most of Vidiac’s features can be turned off and on as needed
by your functionality experts. For example, if commenting and ratings
are not necessary, then you can turn them off in the control panel.
Optional: Redistribution Rights
Copyright of videos submissions belongs to the content creator, but
when a video creator uploads their video to a Vidiac powered site they
are extending Vidiac the right to redistribute their content as we need
to. Syndicating it between our sites or republishing it as needed. For
some of our partners, ownership of redistribution rights is important
and for that we offer this option. Videos uploaded will be made available
to you via an FTP directory. Along with our developer API’s you
can manage the content inside or outside of the Vidiac Interface as
suits your needs.
Optional: Removal of “Powered by Vidiac” footer
If the needs of your branding dictate removal of all Vidiac branding
we offer this as an option. We will remove the Vidiac footer from the
bottom of the page.
Implementation
It’s very fast, your portal will be ready the same day, the longest
time component hinges on customization of the interface, which is up
to your art department or functionality experts.
Pricing
Very straight forward, select the options you want and provide us with
a commitment for the coming month. If during the month you see your
site is growing faster than your expectation, then you can raise your
next month commitment.

Note: Commitment charges ($300) and Optional pricing on commitment
charges ($100) would be due at the first of the month ($400 total).
Uncommited use ($130) and options on uncommited use ($30) would
be due at the end of the month ($160 total).
Uncommitted Stream Handling
To make things easier for you, Vidiac offers three way of handling
Uncommitted streams. Choose the one that best suits your needs and budget.
- Stream at uncommitted rate: Videos will continue to play in your
interface and we will send you a bill for videos streaming at the
uncommitted rate.
- No Stream: Once you have reached your maximum number of streams,
we can cap the system so no more videos are served.
- Stream with Vidiac Advertisements: As another option we can configure
your site so if you exceed your budget, Vidiac will then run our normal
advertisements and allow you to stream for free above your commitment.
