Pete Best joined The Beatles in August, 1960 just as they were about to leave for Hamburg, Germany. Mona Best , Pete´s mother, was one of the most important persons in the Beatles' career and in the development of the Liverpool music & club scene in the early Sixties. The Beatles often played at Mona's popular teen club, the Casbah Coffee Club. In this clips, Mona and Pete discuss the dismissal of Pete from the band in 1962. To this day, no one knows the real reasons why Pete was kicked out of the Beatles.
